The population of Camp Hill in the 2021 census was 12 145. It is located in the City of Brisbane, Queensland, Australia.
Camp Hill is situated 6 kilometers (3.7 miles) south-east of the CBD. Peter Schick and Kasper Klüpfel were among the earliest settlers of Camp Hill, and on 21 May 1859 they purchased the land now bordered by Old Cleveland Road, Bennett's Road, Lloyd and Pampling Street.
There were 11,202 people living in Camp Hill at the time of the 2016 census. Australia is home to 78.0% of its population.
Camp Hill has two main shopping areas. A Woolworths Supermarket anchors Camp Hill Marketplace at 25 Samuel Street ,which is also home to cafes, grocery stores, and restaurants. Among the boutique shopping outlets and businesses located along Old Cleveland Road are an antiques store in the historic Planet Theatre Building, as well as a HiFi Audio store. Local businesses and cafes are also present in the area. A number of hidden boutiques, cafes, and restaurants line the backstreets of Camp Hill, especially along Martha Street. There is a lookout at Whites Hill Reserve Views of Brisbane can be enjoyed from here.
